ARTIST + STAFF + ACCESSIBLE PARKING

In the evening, 8-10 parking spaces are available and reserved for artists, staff, or those requiring accessible parking. Any unused spaces may be used by the general public at no cost.

PUBLIC TRANSIT

Kingston Transit buses stop near the Broom Factory. The Rideaucrest Home bus stop on the “Montreal Street, Number 1” route is the closest.

ON FOOT OR BIKE

We are a 10-15 minute walk from Princess St. We recommend walking along Rideau St or along the K&P Trail which can be reached at the end of Wellington St. If riding a bike, we are about 2-3 minutes from Princess St. We have bike racks on site.

PUBLIC PARKING

  • Free on surrounding streets (James, Charles, Orchard).

  • Free at the Emma Martin Park parking lot at the corner of Cataraqui St and Orchard St.

  • Free on the east side of the NGB building (12 Cataraqui St).

  • Parking is free but we are not responsible for any lost/stolen goods or damages.

The Broom Factory is a fully accessible venue. Aside from accessible parking spaces in our lot, the Broom Factory is a one-level venue with 5 gender-neutral washrooms, including one fully accessible washroom.

Seated shows will be noted in the event description. For general admission/standing-room only shows, a limited number of seats will be available for patrons with accessibility or mobility needs, or upon request. Please ask the venue staff for assistance, they will be happy to help!
